1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Rastyle Republik. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website located at rastyle.co.ke (the "Service") operated by Rastyle Republik ("us", "we", or "our").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Rastyle Republik is a reggae creator marketplace platform that provides:

• Event discovery and ticket purchasing
• Music streaming and mixtape access
• Creator profiles and content hosting
• Community features including trivia games
• Merchandise marketplace
• Live radio streaming

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

To access certain features of our Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

4. Creator Accounts

Creators (DJs, producers, radio stations, record labels) who register on our platform agree to:

• Provide accurate verification information
• Only upload content they have rights to distribute
• Comply with all applicable laws regarding event hosting and ticket sales
• Accept platform commission rates as specified during registration
• Maintain professional conduct when interacting with attendees

Creator tiers (Free, Pro, Premium) have different features and commission structures as outlined in the Creator Dashboard.

5. Ticket Purchases and Refunds

Ticket Purchases

When you purchase tickets through our Service, you enter into a contract directly with the event creator. We act as an intermediary to facilitate the transaction.

Refund Policy

Our refund policy is as follows:

• 14+ days before event: Full refund (auto-approved)
• 7-14 days before event: 50% refund (auto-approved)
• Less than 7 days before event: Refund at creator/admin discretion
• Event cancellation: Full refund to all ticket holders

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.

Ticket Transfers and Resale

Tickets may be transferred or resold through our official marketplace at a maximum of 120% of the original price. Unauthorized resale on third-party platforms may result in ticket cancellation.

6. Intellectual Property

Our Content

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Rastyle Republik. Our trademarks may not be used without our prior written consent.

User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to our Service. By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content in connection with the Service.

Copyright Policy

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content on our Service infringes your copyright, please contact us at copyright@rastyle.co.ke with a detailed description.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Using the Service for any illegal purpose
• Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent content

• Interfering with or disrupting the Service
• Harvesting or collecting user information without consent
• Using automated systems (bots) without permission
• Ticket scalping or fraudulent ticket sales

8. Payment Terms

We use third-party payment processors (Stripe, Flutterwave, M-PESA) to process payments. By making a purchase, you agree to the terms of these payment processors.

All prices are displayed in the applicable local currency. Currency conversion fees may apply for international transactions.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the Service's operation or the information, content, or materials included therein.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
• The results of using the Service will meet your requirements

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rastyle Republik shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
• Any bugs, viruses, or similar issues transmitted through the Service
• Any errors or omissions in any content

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rastyle Republik and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
